Marcy started her journey with Alopecia Areata at the age of 6. Fast forward to today, and she is a university student with a passion for mentoring young children with alopecia.
Marcy’s story was recently featured in a Kings University College article where she inspires us with words she often passes onto her mentees.
“they were given this for a reason as they were born with so much strength and love to conquer the hard times and help change the world’s perception of beauty. Alopecia has a beautiful way of providing a fresh perspective, it makes us more empathetic towards others and gifts us with extra resilience than we once had.”
Thank you Marcy for your commitment to raising awareness and empowering CANAAF youths!
