Say “Good Bye” to the Penny And “Hello” to CANAAF Kids’ Clubs.
Dear CANAAF Members and Supporters,
With the discontinuation of the Canadian Penny,
CANAAF is hosting its first and last official penny drive.
2013 is a year of growth for CANAAF. The programs and philosophies that have been rooting in Toronto since the organization was founded are now ready to reach across the country to those Canadians looking for information and support regarding alopecia areata. The Penny Drive is a great way to connect with local families, schools, and the broader community.
Please collect your pennies, encourage your friends and family to do the same throughout 2013. Proceeds will support the development of CANAAF Kids’ Clubs across our nation.
Help us to support children and teens affected by this life altering condition to feel confident, secure and acknowledge they are not alone.
Guidelines for the Penny Drive are:
1) Collect your pennies and encourage your family and friends to do the same.
2) Rolling may not be necessary as some banks (Bank of Nova Scotia for one) provide bags which hold $25.00 worth of loose pennies.
3) All penny donations of $15.00 or more will receive a charitable receipt.
4) Send the funds via cheque to CANAAF
