Location: British Columbia, Alberta, or Saskatchewan
CANAAF is a Canadian registered charity that provides education, support, and essential resources to families impacted by alopecia areata. We are currently seeking volunteers to join our board of directors. As a CANAAF’s Western Canada Representative, your passion for leadership and giving will provide families living in British Columbia with essential supports on their alopecia journey.
As a member of our Board of Directors, you will:
- Promote awareness of alopecia areata and expand the CANAAF network in British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan
- Increase the organization’s presence in the pacific region with a focus on B.C. and Saskatchewan
- Expand CANAAF’s reach and educate health organizations and other stakeholders within BC, Alberta, and Saskatchewan
- Provide educational and advocacy materials to local wig stores, hair loss clinics and lead alopecia awareness initiatives
- Attend monthly board meetings (via Zoom) and provide reports of monthly activity
- Collaborate with the Board of Directors to assist in planning and organizing the CANAAF annual national summer conference
- Attend CANAAF’s annual national conference in Greater Toronto Area
