CANAAF’s very first colouring book for children with Alopecia Areata was written by Lauryn Harrison and illustrated by JP Della Pia, both of whom were diagnosed with Alopecia Areata at a young age.
“I’ve had Alopecia Universalis for the last 13 years,” JP tells us. “During high-school I found CANAAF and immediately wanted to become very active participating/leading teen groups and taking part in conferences. Since then, I went to university and currently am a freelance Graphic Designer and Illustrator running my own company, Delsegno Designs.”
Children can colour each page as they follow the story of Amy and Andrew, two children who meet and find friendship by embracing that which makes them different.
