On February 20th, the CANAAF Kids Club hosted a special guest: hair loss advocate and children’s author Chauna Payne!

Chauna is the founder of Heavenly Hair Ever After, a program dedicated to educating children about hair loss. She read her book Celeste and The Wig Shop, and spread positive messages of love, confidence, and beauty to our CANAAF Kids.

Together everyone wrote down all the unique and special things about themselves on strips of paper “hair” showing them as well as others that hair does not define them or prohibit them from being amazing people, capable of anything.

“Hair loss does not define who you are,” said Chauna. “You are all special no matter what.”

Heavenly Hair Ever After’s mission is to educate and instill in children a positive self-image and to encourage them to educate others. Chauna stands by them to discourage bullying in any form through the use of knowledge and education. For more info, visit www.heavenlyhaireverafter.com.
